headslow asked: How do you do draw those curls? I've been trying to do those since I was a kid (I'm hardly an artist), but mine usually end up disfigured and unbalanced.

gnarmean asked: First off, I love the way you draw but.. I'm more interested in the way you place your words together. You say things in a few lines but the whole thing conveys a single feeling, i admire how you do that. How do you start a piece of writing? Do you have any tips or techniques you could share with me, Any influences i should look up?

cmykatie asked: I love your work. There is something really captivating and subtly romantic about it. I am already in school for illustration and you seem to have your things together. Recommendations or advice?
stagefivederpes asked: Oh man, this is tough to say since I'm all shy and junk, but here goes. You have to be my favorite artist ever, and have inspired me to take up drawing again after a long time, and a lot of your art has really helped me get through rough times and it just all means a lot,and I'm so happy I found your tumblr. Thank you for drawing like you do :) (oh gosh, sorry if that all sounded odd )
Ulysses Tea is now Theodore Tea.
I wrote all the poetry with the assumption that the correct pronunciation of “Ulysses” was “YOULL-iss-ease,” as that’s how I’ve always said it, when in fact the emphasis should be on the second syllable ie. “you-LISS-ease.” Pronouncing it the correct way entirely ruins the rhythm.
Plus I think Theodore Tea is cuter...

notsobearr asked: I got to page eight and was slightly heartbroken that there wasnt more. You are amazing, and an inspiration. You might have just added a little kindling to the fire i once had for art/writing. It was about to disappear. Thank you. I will definitely be holding your books in my hand one day!
